Turning a Corporate Event Into an Interactive Experience

At large-scale corporate events, one of the biggest challenges is keeping attendees engaged beyond the standard program.

At the 144th Annual Meeting for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, hosted at Will Rogers Auditorium, the goal was to create something attendees would not only participate in, but talk about after the event is over.

The Concept: A Decades-Themed Photo Activation

Instead of a traditional photo booth setup, we created a fully customized experience where guests could step into a different era.

Each attendee selected a decade—from the 1920s through the 2000s—and was transformed into that time period using custom-designed visuals that reflected the style and tone of each era.

This wasn’t just a photo, it was an interactive moment.

Why This Worked

Most event photo booths are passive. Guests walk up, take a photo, and move on.

This experience changed that dynamic:

Guests were curious and drawn in by the concept

The element of choice (selecting a decade) created immediate buy-in

The final images were unique enough to encourage sharing

As a result, the activation became a natural gathering point throughout the event.

What This Means for Corporate Event Planners

If you’re planning a conference, annual meeting, or large-scale corporate event, your audience has likely seen standard photo booths before.

The difference comes down to interaction and customization.

Experiences like this:

Increase attendee engagement

Encourage social sharing

Add value for sponsors and partners

Create a more memorable overall event
